The objective of our survey is to collect information from both healthcare providers and members of the general population to better understand the number and distribution of patients who demonstrate extreme healing. We define "Extreme Healing/Recovery" as cases of recovery, remission, or survival (in the context of a medical disorder or emergency) that exceed the expectations of modern medicine. The information collected from this survey will be used to guide and inform future research investigating the psychological and biological mechanisms that underlie extreme healing and recovery.

Completing this survey will take about 5 minutes. You may choose to complete/skip any of the questions. Participation is voluntary. If you start the survey, you can always change your mind and stop at any time.

If you have any questions or concerns about the research, please contact Dr. Firdaus Dhabhar at fdhabhar@miami.edu. If you have questions regarding your rights as a research participant, contact the University of Miami Human Subject Research Office at hsro@miami.edu or (305)243-3195.
