The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry is recruiting for a research study led by Dr. Barbara Coffey in partnership with the University of Utah Department of Psychology. This study aims to understand how certain hormones in the body, called neuroactive steroids, might impact Tourette Disorder. We are investigating if there are changes in these hormones that could be linked to tic severity and stress responses in individuals with Tourette's Disorder.

We expect about 60 children with or without CTD to join this research, so a child does not need to have a diagnosis of CTD to be eligible to participate. If you want more information, please fill out the following form, and a team member will contact you. By filling out this form, you are only agreeing to be contacted and are not obligated to be involved in the study as a participant. We look forward to speaking with you soon!

Thank you!
