Microbiome Interest Form |
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry is recruiting for a research study led by Dr. Barbara Coffey, a world-renowned expert in tics, Tourette's and related disorders and Division Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The purpose of the study is to understand if changes in microbiome (gut bacteria) may lead to changes in tic severity for children with chronic tic disorders (CTD).
We expect about 80 children with or without CTD to join this research, so a child does not need to have a diagnosis of CTD to be eligible to participate. If you are interested in being contacted with more information, please fill out the following form and a team member will contact you. By filling out this form, you are only agreeing to be contacted and are not obligated to be involved in the study as a participant. We look forward to speaking with you soon!
Thank you!
